The quest for sleep.

I suppose there's no time like the present to jump on the blogging bandwagon, and start recording my completely unimportant and at times inappropriate thoughts for future generations to enjoy. :]

It has been quite a week. Last Saturday, Ellie broke her femur (thigh) bone while she was playing at my mom's house. Total accident, but now the poor baby is in this awful cast that runs from like the middle of her rib cage, all the way down her broken leg, and almost halfway down the other leg. Apparently she has to be in that sort of cast to keep her hips in place, but oh geez, it looks terrible. I brought her home on Monday afternoon, and since then it seems like one thing after another keeps going wrong.

Thursday morning I wake up to Ian saying he needs to go to the hospital;; at this point, he's been running a nasty fever for almost 24 hours. I'm miserable, I've had a migrane since Saturday, and now this?! You have GOT to be kidding me. He's got the flu. Go figure. So now it's Sunday, he's been home for 4 days, and we're both ready for him to go back to work on Monday.

I recently started a quest to start school again. I figure, this month I've been out of high school for 4 years, so it's about time for me to go back. So I get hooked up through Apollo College, and if all goes well, I'll probably be starting school right about the first of June! Wish me luck!

Now, I haven't done this regular blogging thing.. well, ever.. so cut me some slack. I'll get it figured out eventually!
